Koreanxchange Mailer

Since this year's tournament is in Germany (those bastards who ousted the Koreans in the semifinals in 2002), which is 6 hours ahead of New York, all of the games will be televised during not-so-primetime hours of the day. So clear your work schedule and make your calls to reserve a spot at one of these places. They will get packed, even if you think no one will be there to watch a 9:00am game. And if you want to watch it outside of Koreatown, you may want to try ESPNZone 212) 921 - 3776 in Times Square or Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden 718) 274 - 4925 in Astoria among many other options. Jerseys and Gear

This year's Korean national team jerseys are officially made by Nike. The only place in New York City that still had a lot of jerseys left was Macy's 212) 695 - 4400. As of last week, they had 10 or so jerseys and Korean Federation t-shirts, but the jerseys do not have the official lettering / numbers (names on the jerseys are now spelled "Jisung" rather than "J S Park" as in the 2002 World Cup). Modells, Champs, and FootLocker did not even carry them at all. Other stores carrying the non-marked jerseys were Paragon 212) 255 - 8036 and NikeTown 212) 891 - 6453, who both had about 2 - 3 left. Official jerseys with the markings are sold online at Soccer.com, Soccer Plus, Kitbag (London), Subside Sports (London), and SoccerInside.com (Korea).
